Moose Tubes

Installation & Care Instructions

Easy Installation Instructions

Set the Moose Connector to Size.

Ensure the inside bore of each stock is very clean and dry.

#Note:- If your pipes have ever used a hide bag which required seasoning, then it is very important to ensure that the stock bores are cleaned and dried thoroughly. Failure to do so will result in the Moose Tubes sliping out easily.

Check the Moose connector for fit.

If loose, then screw the connector to expand the clear rubber.

If too tight to fit, then screw the connector to contract the clear rubber.

Push the Moose Tube into position.

When the connector push fits into the stock, push the Moose Tube into position ensuring that the corrugated flexible black tubing is up against the bottom of the stock.

Tighten into position.

Turn the Moose Tube in a clockwise direction to tighten.

#Note:- Moose Tubes do not have to be excessively tightened to maintained their grip and stay in position.

Installing Drone Valves or Fitting to Moisture Control System.

The clear tubing section of the Moose Tubes can be simply trimmed using a sharp knife.

This will allow easy fitting of Hylands In-Line Drone Valves or fitting to other brand of moisture control system.

Replacing other tubes with Moose Tubes.

Other brands of tubes are fitted with different connectors such as push in fittings or rubber cups which involves extracting the stock from the bag to fit.

To remove these, simply cut the tubes off at the stock with a sharp knife and trim around the rubber to expose the hole.

There is no need to remove the stock until next time you need to change a bag!

Care Instructions
